At Haughton School of Motoring we are committed to providing the highest quality driving instruction. We began with a simple mission: to make the roads safer by teaching people the skills they need to drive with confidence.

Founded by Peter Haughton, a seasoned professional driver with over 20 years of experience driving numerous vehicle types such as motorbikes, cars, HGVs, cranes, plant machinery and boats! Haughton School of Motoring is built on a foundation of patience, professionalism, a passion for teaching and above all, real life experience on the road!

Peter setup Haughton School of Motoring with the aim of applying his vast experience to help learner drivers to be safer on the roads. Peter was also an RSA driving tester for 4 years covering test centres in Dun Laoghaire/Deansgrange, Wicklow and Gorey.

  Driving is a life skill which should be taught in a calm and relaxed environment and Peter aims to create the very environment necessary for students to learn effectively. 

Our friendly and experienced approach will guide you every step of the way towards becoming a confident and skilled driver.
